Our Women’s Leadership Group recently organized a Breast Cancer Awareness event. Bringing together doctors, nurses, and inspiring survivors, the event focused on discussing possible prevention methods and raising awareness among our community.
Through informative discussions, the event highlighted the importance of early detection, self-examinations, and other crucial aspects of breast cancer prevention. The aim is to empower individuals with knowledge, promote dialogue, and foster a supportive network for those affected by this disease.
Our Chargé d’Affaires, Eric R. Mehler, who presided over the event said Breast Cancer knows no boundaries, and the U.S. Government is dedicated to combating the disease. ”We support scientific research for prevention, improved treatments, and ultimately finding a cure. Together, we can make a difference”, CDA Mehler stated.
