Notice of Funding Opportunity – Fiscal Transparency Innovation Fund (FTIF) 2022
The U.S. Department of State, U.S. Embassy Banjul announces an Open Competition for organizations interested in submitting applications for projects that support the government, parliamentary, and civil society organizations efforts to enhance budget transparency and improve oversight in public financial management (PFM) in The Gambia.
Subject to availability of funding, a grant for up to $499,921.00 U.S. Dollars (USD) in FY 2021 Economic Support Funds (ESF) will be awarded for work that will strengthen the capacity of the National Assembly and the Gambian Government to communicate with the public and other relevant stakeholders during budget formulation, assist the National Assembly in establishing a permanent advisory budget office to ensure legislative independence from the executive, and support civil society to track government spending. The period of performance is 12-18 months.
