Senior U.S. Diplomat Meets Regional Leaders at Gambian Presidential Inauguration

The United States Assistant Secretary for the Bureau of African Affairs, Linda Thomas-Greenfield spoke with several regional leaders at the inauguration ceremony of The Gambia’s new democratic leader, President Adama Barrow. Among those that Assistant Secretary Thomas-Greenfield interacted with were President Macky Sall of Senegal, Former President John Dramani Mahama of Ghana, Vice President Osinbanjo of Nigeria, and Bissau-Guinean Prime Minister.
