The U.S. Embassy building located in Banjul, The Gambia requires a renovation of the Consular Affairs (CA) area to accommodate (1) private office and (6) workstations. This shall be achieved by the removal and relocation of a load-bearing wall to increase the space and provide line of sight within the CA area. This requires localized foundation modifications to allow for this interior renovation of the structure. The period of performance for the scope of work shall be completed in 60 workdays from contract award.

All interested firms should provide a statement that the contractor’s company, sub-contractors, vendors, and all personnel are experienced in installation of welded structural steel, concrete masonry units, FE/BR assemblies, custom woodwork and millwork, ceramic tile floors, and metal work similar to type and scope required for this project. All interested firms must also provide a fire alarm system installer (either employed by the contractor or sub-contracted) who shall be certified at minimum NICET III level or QFPE certification and shall have minimum of five years hands-on experience in the requirements and installation of fire alarm systems for the different building types included in this project.
Responses to this solicitation, including a detailed explanation of your firm’s qualifications to conduct such work, the statement referenced in Paragraph 2 of this solicitation, samples of your firm’s experience in conducting such work in the past, letters of recommendation/references, etc. must be sent via email to BanjulProcurement@state.gov and arrive no later than 12:00pm Banjul time (GMT) on July 09, 2021.
A Contractor Pre-Proposal Site Visit will be scheduled for a date on or about July 22, 2021. Firms interested in attending may submit their names and contact information to BanjulProcurement@state.gov no later than 12:00pm Banjul time (GMT) on July 15, 2021.
